Two new cases of positive tests for the COVID-19 virus were received by the Hays County Health Department overnight on Monday, bringing the total to 61. Forty three are considered active, while 18 people have recovered.

Seven people have been hospitalized in facilities in Austin and San Antonio, and two remain hospitalized.
