Rotary Club of Dripping Springs’ Don McGraw presents The Friends Foundation President Kathy Carriker a check for $1,000.00 in support of Our Daily Bread™, a program providing meals to local area elderly residents. “We’re more than happy to help such a giving organization and look forward to a continued relationship,” said McGraw.
“In spite of the COVID-19 (coronavirus), meals are being delivered on regular schedules,” Carriker said. “We’ve incurred additional expenses purchasing personal protective equipment but the safety of our clients and volunteers is paramount.”
“The Friends Foundation’s 27th Annual BBQ Fundraiser at the Salt Lick has been cancelled. To sustain our several vital programs the Board has decided to hold an online auction this year with details to be announced,” Carriker added.
