The site compared all 50 states and the District of Columbia according to 33 key measures of quality and standards. Among its finding were ranking Texas:

* 21st in math test scores

* 45th in reading test scores

* 30th in pupil-teacher ratio

• 40th in median SAT scores

• 27th in median ACT scores

• 31st in percentage of licensed/certified K-12 public school teachers

• 16th in the incidence of bullyin• 31 in the percentage of threatened/injured high school students.

Overall, Texas ranked 28th among the districts include in the study. Massachusetts and Connecticut were ranked first and second, respectively, and Lousiana and New Mexico were 50th and 51st.
