The Buda Fire Department responded to two lightning sparked house fires Friday morning. Both structures suffered significant damage. The first fire was called in at 7:02 a.m. at 2587 Garlic Creek Drive. Damage is estimated at $150,000.
Crews were then called out to a fire at 342 Red Morganite Trail at 7:16 a.m. Damage is estimated at $200,000.
No injuries were reported in connection with either of the fires. Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames quickly at both homes upon arrival.
