Buda Mayor George Haehn will not be running for re-election, but one council member will be on the November 3 ballot.
Council Member Lee Urbanovsky is so far the only person running for Buda Mayor. Aug. 17 will be the last day for to file for a place on the general election ballot. So far, there are two runners who have filed for Position 2 At-Large, Bobby Lane and Monica Davidson.
Some other important dates for the Nov. 3 elections include:
Aug. 23 as the last day to file a declaration of write-in candidacy.
Oct. 5 is the last day residents can register to vote.
Oct. 19 is the first day for early voting, by personal appearance.
Oct. 23 is the last day residents can apply for a ballot by mail, and the application must be received by then and not postmarked.
Oct. 30 is the last day for early voting through personal appearance.
Nov. 3 is election day.
