On Saturday, Oct, 10, officers were dispatched to the H-E-B at 15300 Interstate 35, Buda, for a motor vehicle vs. pedestrian traffic accident. He was held on a $60,000 surety bond and then released from jail the following day.

Garcez was transported by EMS to Seton Hays Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries. An autopsy was performed and the stated preliminary cause of death was “multiple traumatic injuries”.
