DRIPPING SPRINGS — With nearly 21 years of public education experience, Nadine Hogan was announced as the new Director of Special Services at the Dripping Springs Independent School District (DSISD) Board of Trustees meeting on Dec. 14.
Hogan has served as the Special Education Director of Hays CISD since 2018. Hogan has been in various special education leadership roles since 2009, including Hays CISD Coordinator of Autism Services, Assistant Director of Special Education and her current role as director.
“Ms. Hogan’s student-centered approach to public education, her passion for meeting all students’ educational needs, and her calm and confident demeanor will be a great asset to the Special Services Department and to the District,” said Interim Superintendent Brett Springston.
Hogan also holds a Master of Arts in Human Services and Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She is certified as a PK-12 Special Education Teacher, licensed professional counselor and Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
The Director of Special Services position has been filled for the past two years by Susan Maxey, who is retiring.
