Re: A Christian Point of View on Election, printed in Sept. 2 Hays Free Press
Jenny talks about what Christ wants from us, like compassion for the poor, absence of hatred, humility and faithfulness. He also spoke about murder and the innocence of children.
Mt 7:15 and following verses warn about people who warp his words. “Beware of false prophets. They come in sheep’s clothing but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Not everyone who says to me ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter heaven, only those who do the will of my Father (does He approve of abortion?) Many will say to me on that day, ‘Did we not speak in your name, cast out demons and do miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’”
Jennifer Able (and others who advocate a watered-down Christianity) is rolling the dice on her stance in favor of a political party that supports and finances pro choice in any circumstances. At stake here is her own soul. Is it held by her in so little regard that she would gamble its destiny? Romans 1:32 “Although they know God’s decree that those who do such things deserve death, they continue to do these things and approve of those who practice them.”
Enough said.
