Kyle Police officials are planning to temporarily close a section of east FM 150 between Lehman Road and Hill Street Thursday to further investigate a fatal two-vehicle Jan. 8 wreck.
Authorities will close that section of the roadway from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday for an accident reconstruction, according to a city of Kyle press release. Traffic will be diverted during that timeframe.
According to the release, the wreck happened around 4:30 p.m. Jan. 8. A vehicle driven by Adriana Sofia Vazquez, 20, of Kyle, was traveling eastbound on FM 150 when the incident occurred. Vasquez died while being transported to an area hospital. A dog in the vehicle she was driving also died as a result of the crash.
The driver of a second vehicle that was traveling westbound on FM 150 was also transported to a local hospital. According to the release, that driver was treated and released. No other passengers were in the second vehicle.

Authorities have identified a Kyle woman as the victim in a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred along east FM 150 near Hill Street Tuesday.
Adriana Vasquez, 20, of Kyle, died while being transported to an area hospital following the collision, which occurred around 5 p.m. Jan. 8. Hays County Pct. 2 Justice of the Peace Beth Smith pronounced Vasquez at Seton Medical Center Hays in Kyle. Smith said she has ordered an autopsy; next of kin have been notified.
Officials have not yet identified a second person who was also transported to an area hospital following the wreck. Their condition is unknown at this time.
Kyle Police officials are investigating the wreck.

Two people were transported to area hospitals after a major two-vehicle wreck Tuesday along east FM 150 in Kyle.
According to authorities, the incident happened around 5 p.m. along east FM 150 near Hill Street. The condition of the victims in the wreck is unknown at this time.
Kyle Police have closed a portion of east FM 150 to investigate the wreck.
