The Hays Lady Rebels soccer team dropped to 3-4-1 in district play after a 4-0 loss to the Lake Travis Lady Cavaliers Tuesday at Shelton Stadium.
“We really couldn't generate anything in the middle to go forward and get clear shots, but we tried our best and we will work hard to do better next time.” Hays head coach Mario Bellver said.
Lake Travis controlled the possession and pace for majority of the game, but the Lady Rebel defense limited the Lady Cavaliers to only one shot on goal. That one shot, however, deflected off of goalkeeper Alison Webb’s right hand and into the back of the net with 7:40 left in the half.
