More than 2,000 Pedernales Electric Cooperative customers in the Buda area are without power due to an outage, according to the company's outage website.
According to PEC's outage map, areas impacted by the outage are along RM 967, as well as areas near the intersection of RM 967 and FM 1626. Officials have not yet determined a time for restoring power.
A cause for the outage has also not yet been identified.
