Six first inning runs were enough for the Lake Travis Cavaliers, the No. 1 team in Class 6A, to cruise to a 7-1 district win over the Hays Rebels Tuesday. With the loss, Hays falls into a tie with Anderson for fourth place in the 25-6A standings. Hays closes the first half of district play Friday when it takes on Del Valle in the first of a three-game road stretch. Hays returns home April 12 to play Austin High.
