Kyle Police have lifted a precautionary lockout that had been put in place at Lehman High early Wednesday due to a nearby "police matter."
Lehman High officials received a message from Kyle Police around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday regarding the pursuit of a person who might have been armed, said Principal Denisha Presley in a letter to parents.
While there was no immediate threat inside the building, Presley said she called a campus lockout and lockdown. At around 8:45 a.m., Hays County Sheriff's officials allowed school officials to move students into a lockout only.
