Irene Reynera Flotildes, 78, of Buda, TX was born on April 6, 1941 and
joined our creator on September 22, 2019. Irene was the third child of
six, born to Zoilo and Paula Reynera and grew up in the Philippines.
She was an elementary school teacher, but gave up her profession to
focus on raising her own children. She devoted her time in taking care
of the household and tending to her husband and children.
Irene married her high school sweetheart, Santos Flotildes, on January
4, 1965. They reached a once in a lifetime milestone when they
celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. They made a renewal
of vows with a huge gathering of family and friends, it was a magical
moment for everybody.
Irene is best remembered as an excellent cook. No one gets hungry when
she's around and the house is always filled with aroma from the kitchen.
She also loves to sew and crochet. She's a very strong person
and a disciplinarian. She changed many people's lives with her
kind-hearted nature.
