Four Kerrville Tivy Antler players in double figures Feb. 19 proved too much for the Dripping Springs Lady Tigers basketball team to overcome in a 68-26 Regional Quarterfinal loss at Llano High.
Dripping Springs (25-13) was unable to limit Tivy’s powerful offense, which hit 55 percent of their shots from the field.
Tivy (37-1), which over the weekend advanced to the UIL state tournament in San Antonio, limited Dripping Springs to ten total field goals in the contest. Dripping Springs shot 25 percent from the field in the game and was out-rebounded 31-17.
Tigers Ally Beck and Caroline Gamble led the team with eight points each, while Kennedy Donovan had four assists.
