Homes evacuated in Kyle as precaution after cut gas line

UPDATE (10:30 a.m.) – Centerpoint Energy crews have stopped the leak and all residents who were evacuated were allowed to return home.

Kyle Fire Department officials have evacuated several homes near the area of north Burleson Street and Star of Texas Drive as a precaution after a gas line was cut Tuesday morning.
