After several weeks of working to repair the RM 150 double crossings over Onion Creek, Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) officials Friday said they have fixed the damage and reopened the road to traffic.
Reopening the road comes more than a month after TxDOT officials closed the crossing due to damage caused by flood water in early May. Authorities also cited an incident involving an overturned vehicle of more than 1 million pounds as a partial cause for damage to the roadway.
TxDOT officials had anticipated fixing the road by late July.
