History was made once again by the Dripping Springs Tiger volleyball team Friday after the program secured a school-record eighth straight district title by virtue of a 25-18, 25-18, 25-15 win over McCallum.
The victory improved Dripping Springs’ district record to 107-2 during that eight-year span including its current run of 86 consecutive district victories that dates back to 2013.
So far this season, Dripping Springs has yet to drop a set against district opponents. The Tigers have won 39 straight sets during district play heading into their regular season finale against Austin Northeast.
