Last Day of Early Voting
If you want to avoid the crowds and vote in the upcoming election in person, Friday is your last day for early voting. See page 5 for voting location and times in Buda and Kyle.
First Saturday in Buda
Come to historic downtown Buda for a day of shopping, dining, sips and specials. Empty Bowls Project
The Empty Bowls Project in Dripping Springs is a family-fun event where the community comes together to share a wonderful meal, live music, fellowship, and most importantly, support our neighbors in need. More than 20 restaurants from Dripping Springs and Austin prepare and donate dozens of soups that are each distinct and delicious. The event is at the Dripping Springs Ranch Park on Nov. 3, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition to supporting Helping Hands, guests select the perfect bowl to take home. For a $25 admission, you can choose from more than 1,000 beautiful and unique hand-thrown bowls and hand painted bowls, created by local artists and potters. Tickets are available at the event. DS Chamber upcoming events
The Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce is reminding members that ballots for the board of directors will go out via email this week, and that only one vote per member is allowed.
“Members with multiple associates should choose one person to vote on behalf of that business,” the Chamber representative said. “In case of multiple votes by a member, only the first recorded vote will be counted.”
Also, the Chamber said, tickets will be onsite soon at 509 Mercer Street for Shop Small Saturday, to be held on, Nov. 30.
