The Kyle City Council made several appointments and reappointments at its Nov. 19 meeting.
Gracie Rocha was reappointed to the Kyle Public Library Advisory Board and Priscilla Carruthers was appointed as a new board member.
Animal Control Officer Briana Brecher was named to the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter board.
Chuck Koenen was reappointed to Seat 3 and Amanda Stark reappointed to Seat 5 on the Parks and Recreation Board. Newly-appointed were Tracey Garza to Seat 1 and Anne Duhon to seat 6.
Appointed to the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization was Mayor Travis Mitchell, with mayor Pro Team Dex Ellison serving as proxy.
Appointed to the General Assembly of the Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG) was Council member Robert Rizo. Mitchell continues to serve on the board.
