Staff Report
DRIPPING SPRINGS -- The Dripping Springs Farmers Market will be operating from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays until further notice.
Last week, the market changed its hours for the July 13 event due to the afternoon temperature anticipated to be 105 with a heat index up to 110.
“Our producers have stubbornly endured, standing in the sun for five, six hours at a time," said Charlie Reed, Market Manager, last week. "For many of them, this is their livelihood, and it’s going to take a lot more for them to fold up shop. But we want to ensure people are able to come out and support them.”
