Torrential rainfall over a short period of time is forcing Hays County officials to close a handful of Dripping Springs area roads late Friday.
According to Hays County Emergency Management data, more than four inches of rain has fallen within the past hour at Creek Road at Mt. Gainor Road at Onion Creek.
Most of the northwestern part of Hays County, including Dripping Springs and parts of Driftwood, is under a Flash Flood Warning until 9:30 p.m.
