On July 18 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Buda will host an open house on upcoming improvements to Main Street between Cabela's Drive and Railroad Street. The meeting will be held at the new city municipal complex at 405 East Loop Street.
According to city officials, construction on the project will begin Monday and last approximately 12 months.
The first phase of the project will include installation of a traffic signal at Main Street and East Loop Street near Sequoyah. Other portions of the project include extending the five lane section of Main Street west of Santa Cruz Catholic Church.
