Win a full year free oil changes, and more
As a thank you to customers in the Dripping Springs area, Jiffy Lube is hosting a two-day customer appreciation event at its Four Star Blvd location in Dripping Springs on Friday, July 15 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday July 16 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The event will give away free Jiffy Lube Signature Service oil changes for all customers, plus 50% off all other Jiffy Lube automotive services booked during the event (excluding tire brakes and parts services). There will also be a raffle awarding one customer a full year of free oil changes.
The oil change service includes an interior vacuum, exterior window cleaning and complimentary fluid top off service on vital fluids.
Prevent catalytic converter theft
Due to the widespread issues with catalytic converter thefts, the Kyle Police Department is partnering with Dave’s Kyle Auto & Diesel Repair for a free catalytic converter etching event on Saturday, July 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Having your vehicle’s VIN etched on to your catalytic converter reduces your chance of becoming a victim of this kind of theft. Other activities during the event will include a bounce house and snow cones.

Buda Walmart’s grand reopening will take place Saturday, July 16 at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to celebrate the newly renovated store at 690 Old San Antonio Road. There will be plenty of family-friendly fun during the event including face painting, train rides, a bounce house, food trucks and a Kona Ice truck.
Adopt a furry friend for $22 or less
Be a forever home for a cat or dog and help the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter (SMRAS) clear space. SMRAS’ $22 adoption special is still running for ready-to-go cats and dogs. Additionally, any dogs with a “Guardian Angel” tag have no adoption fee, thanks to a generous member from the community.
