Staff Report 


DRIPPING SPRINGS – Four Health Science students represented Dripping Springs High School at the HOSA International Leadership Conference in Nashville in June.


 Arysta Visser placed first in Pharmacy Science and received a $1000 scholarship. In April, she placed second at the Texas Leadership Conference to qualify for the international event.


Bailey Inglish recorded a top 10 finish in Medical Reading while Karenna Edwards advanced to the second round of competition in Healthy Lifestyles. Inglish was a fourth-place finisher at the state event, and Edwards was the state champion at her event.


 Priya Chandrani placed in the top 10% of competitors and obtained a mastery level on the Healthcare Issues Exam. She also placed in the top 10% at the state competition to qualify.


 DSHS HOSA had a record-breaking 2021-2022 season with a school record of 12 students qualifying for the Texas Leadership Conference.
