Hays CISD 8th-graders were introduced to a variety of careers in the county as the district hosted its annual Career on Wheels Day at the Performing Arts Center. Sponsored by the HCISD Career and Tech Education Department, the event annually brings career professionals together from all over the community for the purpose of informing 8th-graders of the kinds of real-world careers that await them. Roughly 50 vendors attended the event, including the Kyle Police Department, the city of Kyle Public Works, the Kyle Fire Department and many more.
