Roy Edward Albertson, (Feb. 10, 1933 – Dec. 30, 2017) Beloved Patriarch and Pillar of the Wimberley community passed away at Seton Hays Hospital in Kyle, only six weeks after the passing of his wife, Faye Albertson. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Garrid Albertson, mother, Eunice Dickey Albertson, son Darrel Ray Albertson, grand-daughter, Kaycie Raymond.

The owner of REA Electric, Roy was known and respected for his fun-loving personality, honesty, and commitment to his work. The first licensed electrician in Wimberley, Roy truly brought light to Wimberley Valley homes and businesses, as well as to the many people who loved him.

Roy Albertson was born in Houston in 1933. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin High in 1950 and found work with Eidson Electric, with whom he stayed for 29 years.
