Santos Y. Alba, 80 of Dripping Springs passed from this life on July 06, 2022.
Santos attended Dripping Springs Schools as well as St. Martin de Porres Roman Catholic Church.
He was the first Hispanic council man in Dripping Springs and holds the record for being in office the
longest…25 years. Santos volunteered for many city events over the years and was involved with just
about anything that involved the city or Hays County. Santos is preceded in death by his parents
Victoriano Orona and Carolina Yglesias Alba. He is survived by his brothers and sisters Augustina Juliano,
Victoriano Alba, Pauline Alba Stewart, Sarita Alba, Doming Alba and Daughter Laura Sue Perez.
Visitation will be held Monday July 11, 4-6:00 pm at the Harrell Funeral Home in Dripping Springs with a
Rosary to follow at 6:00pm. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 12 at 10:00am at St. Martin de Porres
Roman Catholic Church in Dripping Springs with burial to follow at the Phillips Cemetery in Dripping
Springs.
