SAN MARCOS - A suspect has was taken into custody in Jacksonville, Florida in connection with a threat made to a daycare on Wednesday. Deputies are no longer posted at daycare facility in San Marcos, TX.
The Hays County Sheriff's Office was informed that the San Marcos Department received information from Crime Stoppers on Wednesday, June 8, that an an anonymous tip had been submitted regarding a threat to invoke violence at a “daycare in San Marco”. The information received did not specify a specific state, therefore three cities in the United States were alerted: San Marcos, TX; San Marcos, California and San Marcos, Florida.
