I want to publicly express my full support of Scott Cary’s re-election to the Justice of the Peace Court here in Buda. I worked with Judge Cary during much of my time as District Attorney for Hays County. Judge Cary is clearly the most qualified candidate for this position.

Prior to becoming Buda’s Justice of the Peace, Judge Cary worked as a police officer for the Austin Police Department. He started as a patrol officer in 1982. His career with APD includes more than a decade as a detective including 7+ years in the Robbery/Homicide division. He also served as a Sergeant where he supervised the SWAT team, bomb squad and patrol squads. In all, Judge Cary has 32 years of experience as a police officer.  Judge Cary’s background in police work, enhances his ability to do his job effectively.

I highly recommend casting your vote in the upcoming election for Judge Cary, he is the best qualified candidate on the ballot for this job. He has served Precinct 5 with integrity and hard work.  Let’s vote to keep him in office.
