Austin-based artist Wiley Ross, co-creator of the mural honoring the namesake of Fuentes Elementary, visited the campus and put students through the paces of laser-guided painting. The activity, coordinated by Fine Arts Facilitator Staci Perkins with the help of FES Art teacher Jayme Salinas, involved student creation of a stylistic portrait that will be mounted and exhibited at Fuentes.
