A gas leak in Plum Creek had nearby roads and intersections closed off for five hours Saturday.
According to the Kyle police, the department responded to a call just after 10:30 a.m. about a gas leak at Jack C. Hays Trail and Hellman. The cause seems to have been a gas line ruptured by a construction crew, according to a spokesperson.
For five hours, the intersection and several nearby streets were closed off for residents’ safety, as the line was being repaired. According to the Kyle Fire Department, the call was resolved just before 4 p.m. Saturday.
