On Friday, students, teachers, families, and members of the Kyle community gathered to celebrate the Wallace Middle School Ranger mascot’s 50th anniversary. The events featured a variety of activities, including a pie eating contest. In the evening’s keynote program, Wallace Principal Sarah Hodges was joined on stage by former Wallace Middle School teacher David Hall and Hays County Commissioner Mark Jones and his wife, Kyle Elementary teacher Kerri Jones.
