DRIPPING SPRINGS – On Friday, April 29, Dripping Springs High School (DSHS) hosted Kerrville Tivy Antlers High School and closed out the regular season schedule.
The game was scoreless until the 7th inning when the Antlers scored 2 runs in the top of the 7th inning. The Tigers came up to bat in the bottom of the 7th inning and senior Nico Ruedas started the rally with a double to leftfield.
Unfortunately, the Tigers were only able to score 1 run and left runners stranded. The final score was Tivy Antlers 2 and Tigers 1. Pictured is Tiger #25 Brandon Arvidson, who started the game and pitched for 5 scoreless innings, zero hits and struck out 7 batters.
Jaxon Conover came in for relief and allowed 3 hits, 2 runs and struck out 3 batters. The Tigers concluded the district schedule and advanced to bi-district. The Tigers will play Cedar Park High School in the best of 3. The 1st game will be at Tiger Stadium on Friday night and game 2 and 3 (if needed) will be at Cedar Park HS.
