One person was killed and another was injured after fire destroyed a Driftwood-area home early Thursday.
The incident occurred in the 100 block of Buckskin Pass. According to a Hays County Sheriff's Office Media Report, authorities were called out around 12:30 a.m. Thursday to provide assistance to fire crews.
Joyce Roberson, of Driftwood, has been identified by family as the victim in the fire. Dale Roberson, Joyce’s husband, was reported as injured and was transported to an area hospital. His condition is unknown.
