AUSTIN – Five total touchdowns from quarterback Tanner Prewit led the Dripping Springs Tigers to a 49-7 victory over the Crockett Cougars (4-6) Thursday at Toney Burger Stadium.
Dripping Springs (8-2, 6-1) started the game off slow as they were tied with the Cougars 7-7 with 11:32 left in the second quarter.
However, Prewit and the offense picked up the pace and scored five more touchdowns before halftime. Prewit finished the game with six carries for 96 yards and two rushing touchdowns, while completing 10 of 15 passes for 122 yards and three passing touchdowns.
