Chapa Middle School students had the opportunity to enter the 2017 Monarch Utilities essay contest. Essays discussed the importance of water in their life, the community, the state or the world today. The following is seventh grader Sedona Heaney's winning entry in the 2017 contest.
[dropcap]W[/dropcap]e can all agree that water is a necessity in our everyday life. Scientists predict that by 2025, half of the world’s people will live in countries with high water stress. There are many benefits of water, so we need to make sure we are using it sensibly.
