Kyle artist Jim LaPaso was recently commissioned to make a sculpture for the Scioto Downs Harness Track in Columbus Ohio. The sculpture is a 6-ft. 6-in. tall and 6-ft. 6-in. wide horse made from 1,152 soup ladle handles. The handles are cut from the many ladle cups he uses to propel his kinetic sculptures. LaPaso said this was a fun project as it is something he doesn’t normally do, and he adds “I am the biggest buyer of soup ladles in the world.”
