The Dripping Springs High School Boys Lacrosse Team played its last two season games, losing one and winning one, to end the year with an 11-4 record.
The Tigers lost to Westlake High’s state ranked Division 1 team 10-3.
Goalie Connor Mogen had 17 saves in the net. Tanner Heinchon went 100 percent on faceoffs, and Jakob Joy had three positive turnovers on defense.
The three Tiger goals were scored by three of the four seniors on the team, which include Tanner Heinchon, Cameron Howorth and Robert Blackmon.
The Tiger junior varsity team beat Westlake 14-1. Ten Tigers, including Blake Bendy, Brayden Glass and Ryan Watterson, posted points during the game.
In their final game of the season, the Tigers defeated Bowie High School 8-7 in sudden death overtime. Josh Hays scored the winning goal for the Tigers, which was his second of the night.
Also scoring for the Tigers were Ryan Thomas with two goals and one assist from Connor Jamail.
Gabe Reno finished with one goal and one assist, Nic Austin with one goal, Tanner Heinchon finished with one goal and a game winning assist, Danner Hutchison with one goal assisted by Caden Louthan.
Cameron Howorth and Jakob Joy each had four defensive turnovers for the Tigers. The junior varsity team beat the Bulldogs 14-2 giving them a winning season record of 14-1.
