With a 4-0 win over the Marble Falls Mustangs March 10, the Dripping Springs Tiger girls soccer team officially finished in third place in the 26-5A standings and punched its ticket to the postseason. The Tigers closed the regular season by going 4-1-3 in the team’s final eight games. That included a 2-2 tie against district champion Alamo Heights March 3. Dripping Springs begins the playoffs Friday when it hosts the McCallum Knights at Tiger Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:45 p.m.
