Western Hays County residents showed their patriotic flair last week during various Independence Day events. In Wimberley, hundreds braved the heat and lined Ranch Road 12, as well as fill up the downtown square, for the annual Fourth of July parade in the downtown area. Meanwhile, those in Dripping Springs celebrated July 4 with a bang during the Fire in the Sky event hosted by State Rep. Jason Isaac. The event benefited the North Hays County Fire Rescue.
