[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he King’s Academy in Dripping Springs announced this month the appointment of a new principal, Shelby Hubbard.
Hubbard received her undergraduate degree in elementary education from Missouri Southern State University. After seven years of teaching, she returned to college and received her masters degree in school administration at William Woods University.
While in Missouri she taught first, fourth and fifth grades at Central Elementary, in her home town of Pierce City, Missouri.
In 2014, when Hubbard moved to Texas to be closer to family, she secured a teaching position in Dripping Springs teaching fourth grade and, most recently, kindergarten.
The King’s Academy is excited to use Hubbard’s organization skills to further the vision of the school. This family partnership school blends academic instruction with Biblical instruction.
Hubbard noted that becoming principal at The King’s Academy is a great fit for her, as she has a desire to educate the whole child – academically, socially and spiritually.
