Over the last few seasons, the Lehman Lobos have used its game against the Akins Eagles as a way to find equilibrium. Lehman hopes to repeat that trend as they search for the team's first win of the season. The Lobo offense, which sputtered last week, will look to its run game for support. While the health of RB Diego Romero is unknown, CB Kaleb Priestly exploded on the scene with a memorable fourth quarter in last week's loss to McCallum. QB Daniel O'Neal and the Lobos' wide receiving corps remains a viable threat. However, the Lobos can only go as far as its offensive line will take them. Hays Rebels vs. Dripping Springs Tigers

In the second leg of this recently renewed rivalry, the Hays Rebels seek to avenge last season's loss to the Dripping Springs Tigers. To do so, Hays defense, which held its own at times against Georgetown last week, will have to stop a Tiger offense that's amassed 68 total points and 1,138 total yards in two games. Tiger dual threat QB Trevor Greenman, along with WR Johnny Hoyle and RB Joe Cox are all viable threats in a loaded Dripping Springs offense. But Hays' best defense could be its ground oriented run game. A multiple threat rushing attack, led by RB's Cade Powell, Thailand Mayberry and QB Xavier Martinez, could allow the Rebels to control the tempo. The combination of Martinez and WR Gentry Brawith could play a role as well.
