Dripping Springs’ head softball coach Wade Womack recorded his 500th career win. The Lady Tigers softball team scored a run in the top of the third inning on April 1 to break a 2-2 tie and held Boerne Champion scoreless for six innings, for a 3-2 win and #500 for its coach.
Womack has coached softball for 25 years, 19 years as a head coach, and has been the Lady Tigers head coach for 9 years, after taking over for Keith Tuck who retired and passed away suddenly in November of 2013.
