Starting 9 a.m. Wednesday, officials will close the new northbound exit 213 ramp along Interstate 35 for asphalt maintenance, according to Hays County Pct. 2 Commissioner Mark Jones office.
The closure will allow Angel Brothers construction to mill the current asphalt on the ramp and repave the asphalt as well. The ramp is expected to re-open no later than 3 p.m. Wednesday.
All northbound I-35 traffic needing to access FM 150 (Center Street) must use exit ramp 210, or the Yarrington Road exit.
The milling of Exit Ramp 213 is part of a larger milling and paving operation tomorrow on the northbound and southbound frontage roads to tie in the remaining two ramps under construction near Yarrington Road and to repair spot locations on the NBFR prior to the final asphalt surface paving.
