On Dec. 14, four local Hays CISD educators were recognized for their outstanding efforts in working with the district’s English as a Second Language (ESL) learners. Those educators who were honored include Joy Childress from Chapa Middle School, Eleanor Greer from Hays High School, Emily Zamora from Science Hall Elementary and Dahlia Garza from Tom Green Elementary School.
