Los Olivos Market coming to Dripping Springs
Los Olivos Market, a marketplace featuring Texan and Spanish artisanal food, local and international wine and beers with beer flights and wine tastings, a counter-service eatery serving gourmet, seasonal dishes, and an on-site butcher case, is expected to add a location in Dripping Springs in May under the name Dos Olivos Market. There are currently two other locations in Wimberley and Buda.

Buc-ee’s coming to Caldwell County
The beloved travel center, Buc-ee’s, is expanding to Caldwell County. On April 12, the Caldwell County Commissioners Court approved a 381 agreement with Buc-ee’s, which would involve the company staying in the county and building a larger store.
A taste of Louisiana coming to Kyle
Cajun bar and restaurant Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, co-owned by retired NFL quarterback Drew Brees, was unanimously approved as part of Kyle’s restaurant program incentive during the April 19 Kyle City Council meeting. The restaurant will be located at the southwest corner of Kohler’s Crossing and FM 1626 in an 8,300 square foot building. Along with creating 100 jobs, the capital investment of the restaurant will be $3 million and the three-year sales tax rebate is 163,850. The restaurant is set to open in late 2022 and will feature a menu of Cajun classics, perfect for game day.
Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons opens Kyle clinic
Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons (CTVS) is opening a new location in Kyle at 930 Kohlers Crossing, Suite 650. The new facility will house a vascular intervention suite (VIS) for diagnostic procedures and dialysis access interventions as well as treatment of peripheral artery disease (PAD). The VIS uses state-of-the-art imaging and treatment options to help restore blood flow to the legs and feet of patients with poor circulation and clogged arteries.
CTVS also has locations in Central Austin and Georgetown.
