[dropcap]M[/dropcap]ore and more information is coming out almost daily on how hard the Russians tried to influence our election. A friend of mine says no way could Russia have influenced his vote. Yet he not only believes some of the Russian Propaganda, he repeats it as fact to others. Now if that doesn’t make one wonder what would it take?
We may never know how effective the attempts were. But that’s not the point. The point is that they tried so hard. Putin not only tried to disrupt our election system but other democracies as well. I am not trying to de-legitimize the election. We simply don’t know that and may never know.
We need to go after Putin the way we went after Osama Ben Loden. Putin has declared war on democracies worldwide. Putin has done more damage to the U.S. than Osama ever did. We simply cannot afford to have a foreign country elect or try to elect our rulers.
