On Thursday. April 14, the Tigers defeated Katy Jordan High School 1-0 and punched their ticket into the championship game with defending State Champion Frisco Wakeland High School. The championship game was held on Saturday at Georgetown High School.
Wakeland went into the half with a comfortable 3-0 and would never look back. The Tigers came out aggressive in the 2nd half, but were unable to score. The final score was Wakeland 3 and Dripping Springs 0.
The Tigers finished 26-4 and this was their first appearance in the championship game. According to school officials the Tigers set new records in the 2021-2022 season with:
- 26 wins
- 117 goals
- 18 shutouts
