More than a dozen Hays CISD middle school students reached the mid-way point in this week’s Camp Invention, a program that challenges students’ creativity, innovation and problem solving skills. The program, hosted by Barton Middle School, has students go through two modules per day. Karen Sinor, host supervising teacher, said the camp set-up isn’t just “let’s play,’ it’s ‘let’s learn something.’” She said the idea is to let participants have a personalized experience with invention and entrepreneurship.
